Convert Word Documents to PDF for Free – PDF Conversion
When You Need To Send a Document
I write documents for clients which contain my terms and conditions of business, proposals and other such things. Normally these are written using WORD, but I don’t like to send WORD documents in email. Unless you lock WORD documents, they are easily edited, and because it is generally better to pass documents around the web in PDF format.
Why is PDF Better?
- The software people need to read PDF documents is freely available from Adobe.
- PDF documents are not easy to change without leaving some sort of footprint.
- Scanned images can be compressed making the size of the resulting PDF more manageable
- PDF files don’t get infected by viruses
- PDF documents can hold hyperlinks, video, images and sound.
- PDF stands for portable document format which means these files are easy to view on all types of computer. You don’t need to worry if your recipient has the same version of word processing software that you used.
